My style inspirations -Alexa Chung

Time  for a transformation and a new feel to my wardrobe, what better way to start this by looking at some of my style inspirations..

Alexa Chung

The British Style icon that we all envy! Everything she wears I just love. She has the most beautiful put together looks.

Both looking very slick and elegant in simple red and white.

I'm thinking about restyling my hair - i.e. cutting it off!! This is the sort of look I'd be going for..

New me for 2011 (Found Draft Post)

Not only did I start the new year by decided to stop drinking, smoking, binging and by taking action with my art and my career.
I have also become more of a shopaholic than I was previously.
Hmm... I'm sure I'm supposed to be saving money to be able to do all these exciting opportunities coming my way, not spending it.
Yes, but, I have decided that what's the point in holding back and thinking I can't do this I can't buy that, when what I should really be thinking is, O yes I can do anything, I have money, I will be getting more money AND all these new opportunities and dreams will become a reality.

I can achieve whatever it is I want to achieve. So why not buy what I want. Look how I want. Feel good and be rich.
After all, I am a successful young woman. Am I not!

So to inspire you all here is a little snippet of what I have been buying

Topshop fur coat

Zara leopard print dress (see a pattern emerging?)

Topshop Jacket (This is for work related outfits) - shoulder pads gallore!

Camel Coat
My Best Buy of the year!
Charity Shop £12!!!
Tailor Made and everything, I do love Bath sometimes.

I would like to add that actually at the time of posting this I have taken up drinking (in small measures) and snacking (trying to stop) and I of course have not stopped spending.
However, my plans did make a difference.
I now have a job in the arts world with Bo Lee Gallery, I am being more proactive, I feel rich (maybe not a good thing as I'm not quite there yet) and I have been to the gym (not very regularly but it still counts).

So there you go.... Now be inspired!!!

Mundane Monday

Even though it is a Monday, I'm sneakily having a bit of a lazy day. So to make up for it, I'm sharing some of my mundane Monday thoughts...

Blue Valentine is the story of love found and lost told in past and present moments in time. Flooded with romantic memories of their courtship, Dean and Cindy use one night to try and save their failing marriage.
Starring Ryan Gosling and Michelle Williams this film looks magical, believable, romantic and simply true. I can't wait for it to come out.

Watch the trailer here : BLUE VALENTINE

Some pretty button earrings I made for my sister's birthday.... should be making lots more for selling...

I really want to figure out how to do the fishtail braid, so thats my Monday project... just to add another project to the list.

I think I might dye my hair again today... permanent! :)
Not quite as cherry red as Cheryls but red..!

H&M Cape!

I love this cape from H&M and i really like this picture which is grabbed off lookbook.
I went in to the shop today, saw a lovely big poster of it on the wall, but couldn't see it anywhere. Asked an assistant, and she said they didn't sell that line in store, the nearest shop is in Cardiff!!! ggrr!! As if I'm going to go to Cardiff! :(

Well here it is... the beauty itself!
