Those being:
Those with a ladybird totem are usually family oriented with strong moral and social values. (Yes..?)
Ladybirds where once called 'The Beetle of our Lady' - linking it to spiritualism and religious devotion. Past lives associated with religion or the church are common, and some form of prayer or meditation is recommended. (This touched some truth as at the time I felt like I needed meditation)
Because it has a very short life span the ladybird brings a message of 'Let go'. (maybe yes.)
The ladybird has a big appetite and because of its diet it often has paracites, so those with this medicine need to take are of their digestive system. (very true, I'd just come back from India and my IBS had severely worsened.)
Another message it carries is to release our fears and return to love. :)
So anyone having ladybird issues??
Well, after a while, more and more and more of them have gathered. To the point where I'm starting to dislike them, which is sad. But I'e recently found out that they are actualy Harlequin ladybirds!!
These are from Asia originally, and have somehow made there way to Europe. They reproduce very rapidly and are eating all of our aphids, and are bad for our own British ladybirds. In fact, Ecologists are saying that they are very bad for our British ecosystems! oh dear!
They collect in my lamp shades and die there :( so I've been collecting them, and am going to make art pieces out of them! I have already ancapsulated a few of them in resin, for some jewellery making! So keep a look out!
If you have any suggestions on how to keep them out please let me know!!
