Exhibition Filled Friday

I've just got my laptop back from a friends house and now I am back in the game! Friday I found myself at two exhibitions.
In the morning breakfast club was held at D.A.V.E at Milsom Place in Bath.
The exhibition primarily consisted of paintings but also held one sculpture in the centre of the room. A lovely setting, with stone walls and soft lighting, though I'm sure the stone walls proved difficult with hanging the works. However this has evidently been taken into consideration and the paintings have been hung with string - somehow quite effective against the stone backdrop.

In the evening I found myself at the private view of I, Me, Mine. An exhibition curated by second year students on the theme of collection. I was pleasantly surprised by the exhibition, the array of collections, the way it had been presented, the small cards we could collect and keep and the music! There is hardly ever music at openings - and this I feel is a must - it helps people feel settled and comfortable.
