Firstly I'd like to apologise for not posting last week, my computer died on me, and so I just had to go out and buy a new one. So I bought a brand new shiny macbook :) and got a free ipod! Anyone looking to buy one, buy before october and you get £130 worth of an ipod.
Anyway, last week was the Bath Spa degree show, and because I was running the bar I didn't manage to get many pictures. In fact whilst I'm on the topic of the bar, let me quickly explain.. a group of us Second Years decided to run a bar, in order to raise money for the Free Range Graduate show we want to take part in next year. We ended up raising just over £900 in just a few hours!!! I will talk more about Free Range later on.
The show, I felt was a bit disappointing, there were some good pieces there granted that, but nothing that really spoke out. However, I did think the Fashion and Textiles show was impressive!! Well done guys!
These photos are of the work having been taken down. I didn't get a chance to take photos of it installed unfortunately, but this was by far my favourite piece. The artist painted the walls yellow ochres and blues, and there was just stuff everywhere! Clearly a hell of a lot of work had gone into this piece.
