Starting with an exhibition in Lucerne in Switzerland!
The exhibition, 'Present', has been curated by Sarah Buhler and her team over in Lucerne and they have invited artists from all over the world to exhibit. I am very happy to be given this opportunity alongside my collaborative partner Layne Arlina, and our fellow artist Nick Stamp.
It is going to be great to meet new people and start networking again, as I've been so preoccupied with uni life - dissertation and the likes- that I haven't had much time for real art fun!
This is a translation of the Present Blog to explain what is going on:
'The PRESENT exhibition invites international artists to exhibit in Lucerne. The art mediation project looks to intentional experimental forms of exhibiting.
Fifteen artists were approached especially for this unique exhibition, in which artwork is sent via post from nine countries.
Rössligasse in Luzern will display the materials received from the fifteen artists, as directed in the enclosed instructions.'

I have also been looking into exciting things for next year, placements and the likes... but I'll keep them a little secret for now :) though it is very exciting!!!!
Eye 2 Spy have a lot planned, and lots of new opportunities we are keen to get involved with.
Our latest event was at the BFN, which was a great success! And we look forward to working with the Feminist Network in the future.
Now, after Switzerland we will be shooting new videos, promoting and being extremely creative by submitting work for competitions and the likes! So keep an eye out!
I have been asked by a friend to help art direct an event in Bath for the Fringe Festival, which is lovely! This will be taking place in May and will involve arts, music dance, crafts and many more wonderful creative things, and will be held at the Chapel Arts Centre.
This is the facebook page for Bath Fringe Festival and is well worth a look, as you can have sneak previews as to what else is going to be on the menu.
Bath Spa students are constantly raising funds for Hatched - our Free Range exhibition. I am helping to organise an event at Komedia that will be taking place sometime in May also. This will involve live bands, DJs, art fair and raffle! I will keep you posted on all of the events.
Anyone who would like to participate in any of these events - either by submitting art work, or wanting to help with children's workshops at the Chapel Arts Centre, or playing music at Komedia please just send me an email.
Exciting things to come!!!
