'Migration' Exhibition

Migration is an exhibition held by Bath Spa students at the Newton Park campus, with the theme of 'Human Interaction with the Environment'.
It was evident that many of the artists involved chose to use recycled materials and chose work that had some sort of impact on the issues of environment.
I did not actually make it to the private view which was a shame - as I missed out on the mayor - but instead went nice and early on a beautiful frosty morning to capture the lovely light in my photos.

Melissa Mahon 'Platoon'

Natasha Roberts 'Beautiful Moments, 2010'

This I was particularly interested in as the photographs are set in eco resin - something I am very keen on using in the future.

Sam Bowditch '568 (paper in flight)'

Joe Meldrum
'Environment Time Capsule'

Rachel Evans 'Arm Span'

Graeme Bateman 'Temporal Temple Mobiles'

Nick Stamp
'Move Along, There's Nothing To See Here'

Michala Pike 'Metaphrastic'

The show is open to the public from the 17th - 21st of January 2011.

  2. Isn't it just! :)
thank you, it was such a lovely day, very cold and crisp mind you.
I loved the birds too - Nick's work is fab. He coated them in wax so that they would be extra weather poof! Great idea I thought.
